Hickory Smoked Honey Chipotle Chicken Wings
Here is a recipe that you can try with the Dexter’s Hot Sauce No. 1 Hickory Smoked Honey Chipotle sauce:
Ingredients:
- 1.5 kg chicken wings
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup Dexter’s Hot Sauce No. 1 Hickory Smoked Honey Chipotle sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
- Chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper. Arrange them in a single layer on the prepared tray. Bake for 40 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crisp.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the Dexter’s Hot Sauce No. 1 Hickory Smoked Honey Chipotle sauce, honey, butter and vinegar. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
- Transfer the chicken wings to a large bowl and toss with the sauce until well coated. Return them to the baking tray and bake for another 10 minutes, or until sticky and glazed.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot or at room temperature. Enjoy!
